Beaconsfield Master Bathroom

We were first contacted about 9 months before the refurbishment started to design and supply 8 bathrooms. Our clients had a firm idea of what they wanted to achieve in each bathroom and were able to give us an overall budget with the largest being spent on the master suite.

Project Brief

For her master, Mrs K wanted to achieve a spa-like feel. With a young boy and another girl on the way she wanted this space to feel very grown-up and a private getaway for her and her husband. The master suite as a whole would entail a large dressing room, the main bedroom, as well as this ensuite bathroom.

Project Style

Project Budget

£30-35K, £35-40K

Our Approach

Our client wanted:

  • A large double shower for both of them,m to be able to use at the same time. He wanted large drench heads, but she felt the need for a practical slider rail kit was important too.
  • A freestanding bath; big enough for the whole family to get into. Although this space was to feel like a very grown-up private space, there is the odd occasion where the whole family may be using it and Mrs K wanted them all to be able to bathe together.
  • Double basins with plenty of storage. Although a large dressing room was adjacent she wanted to keep all the bathroom paraphernalia within the ensuite, including spare towels & washing items. Her dressing table & make up was to be within the dressing area though.
  • Clever lighting to help create an atmosphere within the space. Mrs K specifically mentioned a dropped ceiling with lighting surrounding to flood the ceiling in a soft & attractive way.

Our designer went to work creating an indulgent, spa-like room with a luxurious vibe that could also cope with young kids on occasion.

Project Outcome

Mr & Mrs K were thrilled with the outcome, loving the bath and the large shower as well as the vanity unit with ample storage.
